Welcome to VitalInsight™ Technology
Most plans designed to improve outcomes are based on data that do not inform practice, divide rather than unite stakeholders, waste resources, increase risk, and ultimately fail to meet stated objectives.

VitalInsight™ technology makes it possible to align the practices of employees and other stakeholders to improve outcomes, mitigate risk and waste, build trust, and increase confidence.
The Power of VitalInsight
At VitalInsight, we evaluate best practices in education (8,000 in 18 Systems) and healthcare (6,000 in 10 Systems), diagnose needs, prescribe improvement strategies, align practice, and create a shared vision among stakeholders. The usually competitive planning process that leads to arguments about resources and priorities is eliminated. Typically, 6-8 months of time is saved in implementing change strategies.
We aim to raise awareness of the positive impact of our solutions. Shared awareness among stakeholders unifies purpose and effort. Practices understood in common are more easily aligned and improved.

Vision
VitalInsight strives to help schools understand how to overcome stagnant and declining test scores and to support healthcare organizations in improving patient outcomes while reducing risk, waste, and cost.
Mission
VitalInsight (VI) generates critical data for planning and decision-making that diagnose performance strengths and vulnerabilities and supplies specific prescription options to optimize student learning and patient care.

The medical field is unique in its use of common protocols for discovering and addressing the root causes of problems. In Curing Student Achievement: Clinical Practice for School Leaders, Philip Esbrandt and Bruce Hayes adapted the clinical practice model to drive more effective inclusion of stakeholders, use of diagnostic and prescriptive data for strategic planning, and improved outcomes.
In a five-year study of one school’s journey with VI, reported in AASA’s School Administrator magazine, (“Beyond Compliance to Performance Improvement,” Esbrandt and Hayes) the application of clinical practice protocols produced double-digit achievement growth each year, higher levels of parent involvement and trust, improved teacher planning and collaboration, and higher levels of student engagement.
“Every instructional staff member learned to generate and analyze data... to discover the root causes of behavior, identify the obstacles to better performance, and help every student achieve at high levels.” In five years, the school moved from one of the state’s worst performers to one of the best.

VitalInsight™ automates and standardizes diagnosis of the strengths and vulnerabilities of practices in a hospital, clinic, office, district, and school, prescribing best practice remedies targeted to specifically identified vulnerabilities across each key performance system.
